# Vision

LayerTao is not just an API. It is a new layer in the AI stack.

Just as cloud platforms abstracted infrastructure, LayerTao abstracts decentralized intelligence.

Over time, this layer can expand beyond Bittensor to include:

* Multiple decentralized networks
* Hybrid routing systems
* Performance-based marketplaces

The long-term goal is straightforward:
